The Vintage Snowmobile Club in Marion, MI put on a excellent race, show and swap meet. Second annual for them and had a sell out crowd. Lots of racers showed, there were a few Rupps, one came all the way down from Manistique Mi. (in the UP) with a 340 3D. He ran in the open class, walked away for three laps then there was that funny smell and sized it in front of the grand stand, what a shame he was doing so well! I ran a Sport 295 in the stock 340 class and took a forth place (couldn't turn in the corners (1/2 mile flat ice track). My first time at oval racing, so I was quite pleased. Looking forward to next year. If you live in the area, keep it in mind for next year!!

Hey Daniel, I made the trip to Marion Saturday with my dad we had a great time.We saw Troy Smith's 72 Nitro 340, 74 Nitro II, and his 76 Nitro all very nice. A lot of other great sleds too . My dad took some pics. I think there's one of your sled on the track just before the race. I'll post some pics when I get his camera.
