I have not seen a published listing for the H.P. of the 634 Hirth, but think it was around 35 to 40 H.P. The thing about the Hirth was its incredible torque. This is a good Question, I wounder in comparisson to the 440 tohatsu wich has an avaerage H.P rating of 40 H.P what the torque curves look like. I know the Tohatsu tends to wind up quicker and the 440-s2 has a definate power differance,

red19lite: if your clutch is a hex arctic I have had best luck with two piece comet duster puller has same 9/16 nf thread

red19lite: okay, the two piece comet pullers work the best in my experience. have someone check the runout in that crank when you have it out no more than .004 better close to zero if you been banging around on it getting the clutch off

lemans1955: Lol!! I agree with Rupplover, keep em going, specially with a track conversion. Rupp tracks are hard to come by, and even when you find a nice one they are still 40 years old and heavy as sin.
