Anybody have any published/listed horsepower numbers for the '71 WT 634? Just curious what kind of power these engines produced. Thanks guys.

I have not seen a published listing for the H.P. of the 634 Hirth, but think it was around 35 to 40 H.P. The thing about the Hirth was its incredible torque. This is a good Question, I wounder in comparisson to the 440 tohatsu wich has an avaerage H.P rating of 40 H.P what the torque curves look like. I know the Tohatsu tends to wind up quicker and the 440-s2 has a definate power differance,

my old hith manual says 36hp at 5,550 rpm
