I'm lost Eddy Two throttles? Do you use one or the other? Or both? You must use one or the other? I'm lost can you tell... this is killing me. Are they to accommodate two different drivers

You can use one or the other. It was so Gene could use his left hand to run the throttle if he needed to. It was short lived, they only used it in one or two races, then switched to the plastic throttle block and conventional cable like everybody else used.

Thanks for the pics on this , they are great, they lend some help in the building, and chassis aspects of an oval racer for me. I am familliar with Stock cars chassis building and tuning, and wonder how the same theories aply to a sled, and it looks like alot does. converting it over to sleds is an interesting thing.

Yes seacoastrupp, Chassis dynamics play an important roll. Caster and Camber are a very important aspect of front suspension geometry as well as Toe. The vintage sleds with leaf-springs are even simpler than a car. No Bump-steer, Camber gain, Anti-roll bars or Shock Absorbers. The rear suspension is very important and shares some aspects of a Stock car. Weight transfer coming to my mind first. Keep the wheels turning. Your on it!

I'm workin' on it. Haven't had time to get the finished pix up. Here's a few teasers of it almost done. Gas tank's aluminum. What size? Hmmmm I can't do all your homework ;D There were at least two different styles of gas tanks used. We had best pictures of dual tank set up, so we went with that. I think we got it pretty close. I'll get up some finished pictures with the hood off so you can see the tank.

So should we start cutting up the old 73 Mag now or should we wait for a little more schooling? ;D Why would you cut up a 73 Magnum? When a Yankee is the same thing.
