Hard to tell from the pictures, but is that a Magnum suspension? It looks like a steel boxed frame for hyfax. Just a guess.

If it's not a Magnum suspension it might be a 72 Nitro suspension.

Nice find, 72 Rally/ 71 Magnum suspension there.... outside of the cowling being a bit different w/ larger teardrop intakes, and gussets at the spindles, maybe a few other small exceptions....aluminum bumpers.. you have a nice start on a 634 Magnum build.....it is typical the tracks like to catch on the rear spring area,, some modding with an idler wheel at the shock/ rear spring area will help this from happening... Have Fun ,,, Saved another one....

I see what you mean about the track rubbing at the rear springs. There isn't much clearance. Does anyone have any photos showing idler wheel mods that they have completed in order to alleviate this?

That steel rail slider is a 71 or 72. I'm thinking 72 Rally. Don't think the 72 Americans had sliders but I might be wrong.

Spun the track today and the rear idlers crumbled to pieces. When I removed the fuel tank I noticed this support. The front end doesn't look like it had been hit. The support is only on the PTO side of the sled.

Run a straight edge across the front of tunnel over to the spindles. The front isn't usually beefed up like that unless it has been damaged or tweeked in some way.
