The 70 Rupp 44 sprint was a Hirth I thought,,, But anything is possible, Doubt it was a magnum type option... Good Question.... Get in touch w/ me I just went down a long rd. regarding a piston port 440 CCW... Reed CCWs are easier to get parts for... Joe
Well, got pictures of this sled...the mystery was better when it was still a mystery! 1970 WT, with a transplanted CCW in it...no seat, no shroud, bad track and drivers...yuck! Was hoping for at least a nice Sprint (as I'm still looking for a good deal on a decent '70 Sprint!)!
runnerupp: Probably shunned upon but I finally got my 74 American out with 95 Indy drive and new limped track.

ruppluver: runnerupp, its better to see the Rupp in the snow, that sitting out in the trees.More & more people are retrofitting tracks because of the non obtainable, good Rupp tracks.YOUR sleds,do whatever it takes to ride & have fun with them.

lemans1955: Lol!! I agree with Rupplover, keep em going, specially with a track conversion. Rupp tracks are hard to come by, and even when you find a nice one they are still 40 years old and heavy as sin.
