While working on a TR295S-3 engine today,& glanced over & saw the "blue" hood gathering dust. Soooooo,I masked off for the stripe & painted it red. I have some more painting to do on it,plus I have some decals to put on.

I looked through my carb box, found one that said "rebuilt",but won't work.Ok,so I pull the bottom off, inlet gas needle is stuck closed. Hmmmmmmm,so I put it on,the results are looking good.Had to take the hood off to get at fuel tank, have to hook up a return line. Also discovered,my headlite has NO wire going to it.Have to hook regulator into wire coming off the light position on switch.Had regulator hooked into headlite socket.Good grief!!! Should have it running later today.I think I have a re-done seat also, was done a couple years ago[think I used the regular heat, pleated material for the top].Amazing what one can find hidden on the shelves,9' off the floor.I've got way to much common stuff, but it's nice to find it & use it.

Here is view of the "mighty" wiring harness,I added some more wires to it,to get everything to work.Headlite & tail lite work great. The engine runs ok,needs to be fine tuned yet,out in the cold. Engine with everything hooked up,gas lines, electrical & even a Bing air cleaner.Ready to rock & roll. Rear compartment with upholstery. 2 stroke smoke, after just a very SHORT run time. That stuff is NASTY,in a confined area!! ONLY have seat left & then it's a WRAP!!!

I hooked up the 2 springs for the rear sled lift. They were held in place before, with heavy duty cotter pins.NOT NOW!!! I took the sno-flap bolt & welded a "nut" on the bolt head. That's what I hooked the springs to,the NUT!! Works great. Another view with the extra seat on. I make sure ALL my seats are interchangeable with ALL my sleds. If the snaps don't line up on the tunnel,I move them. The only place I'm having problems is by the stirrup, one snap on each side of it.Some are 3" apart, some are 2 1/2" apart. My extra seat fits this sled & my other black sled. Thats what I worked on today, getting the seat to fit both. There's always something!!

This sled just left the Rupp herd, went to South Dakota. I'm thinking it's getting to be more fun building them, than riding them!! More space in garage to build now.Love it. I want to thank lemans1955 for rebuilding some HR carbs for me,future builds. Thanks Kyle.
