I have found 76 440 xenoah Lc motor for parts from swap meet, I has a really nice top end but the crank is shot. Broke the rod and punch right thru the crank, I took it apart and pistons, cyls, heads are all in great shape, my question is I have a really good 76 340 bottom crank, can I put 440 top ends on 340 crank?

the chapparal are lighter and most likely weaker? someone on here put one in a rupp engine to make it spin quicker,i didn't see anything about how it held up to much more power?
