I just brought this 75 340 fa home tonight I found out about it a couple days ago got in touch with the owner, it originally came out of Dansville ny it my have been raced in the southern tier over the years, the headlight has been deleted, everything is there besides the side pad for the seat and the correct skis, it came with couple boxes of extra parts that I still have to go through, the engine is going to need some work, it may see a little grass this fall

I ended up using a nice Polaris 121" track an aluminum drive axle and I moved the green drivers in, I have an older wahl drag suspension I am thinking about taking the hyfax off from and adding some wheels i am thinking about using a wahl drag seat a small tank, aluminum dash panel, has anyone ever put a set of stingers on the stock pipes, i saw yamaha's had tip sheet with a slide on stinger that was held on by springs i was wondering if there azz any tip sheets from back then

Waterjacket, wonder if a few guys had a mold for hoods like that? There was an F/A with same hood on ebay a year ago or so that looked identical sled was about the same condition too.

Hood almost looks factory. Well at least the petina of the hood paint makes it look like its from 75. Does the inside of the hood show aftermarket fiberglass work?

just finished up new leaf spring brackets for the skis I made them outta 11ga 304 the original one were almost 20ga and rally rusty I figured just to be safe id replace them and all the hardware
here are a couple more photo's of the hood as best as I can tell it looks like someone had done the glass work themselves it looks pretty good but on the underside you can see the patch over where the head light was, when I first saw the hood I was thrown off because I have never seen one with out the head light, I got the secondary put together, went through the steering installed the 121' polaris track using the green drivers on the aluminum axle I moved them in to line up with the 121, I have an older wahl drag skid I was thinking about using under it

been working on making a crass suspension the last couple of days for the front arm mounting brackets I will be using two 5/8 bolts with a mounting two mounting brackets on on each side of the rails with washers for spacer allowing the springs to move freely and I will bolt the brackets holding the springs to the rails with aluminum round stock 1" tall to hold the springs in place and a limiter strap on both front an rear arms to keep the springs from popping off when the arms go all the way up, I will be adding 10-12 3" dia roller blade wheels using 3/8" bolts mounting to the rails
