Bought some parts this weekend and the guy had this bulkhead that he threw in with the deal. Any idea what it fits? It has the rupp motor mount hole pattern and similar style bracing under the tunnel but this bracing is longer than usual. The front is widened much more than a magnum and has a different ski spindle angle for each. Looks to be setup for oval racing. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

I think you may have stumbled on something unique there! That looks like magnesium.

Nice 74 SnoPro bulkhead you have there! I would try to trace the history of it if you can.

Here is a picture of my 3D bulkhead I had filed away, I have more. If you have any interest. These sleds were hand built and only 4 of them. Did they make an extra bulkhead or two? Very possible. Or maybe something is a touch off, not built to spec. And not used. I see no offset steering holes drilled, no extra plate on the left side to give it a little more reinforcement. It appears it's not been used. Maybe the first to be built and a few minor changes made. What ever a cool find for sure. I can give you some tips on cleaning it without removing the patina that makes it look cool. I would not shine it up. xenoahsark.proboards.com/thread/4467/74-rupp-snopro-exposed

Thanks for your help guys. I was pretty sure it was 3D but hadn't seen any pictures to know for sure. It is much lighter than any aluminum bulkhead I have picked up in the past so must be magnesium It looks like it has never been installed as there are no bur marks for where bolts or rivets would have been. I am going to try and clean the bird crap from it this weekend and see how it cleans up. Not sure what I am going to do with it and am trying to get some history from the guy who gave it to me. He has tons of parts upstairs in his barn where I found this so I am going to try and get back there soon and see if I can find anything else related to this sled. I think I saw a 650 Tohatsu fan cooled nitro aluminum motor covers in the far corner but couldn't get to them. Will try on my next trip. You wouldn't believe the amount of stuff in the way.

To have that stuff, I would think that he would have ties to the rupp racing program of some sort.

Found an interesting set of handlebars this weekend from the same place as the bulkhead. The bars are light weight chromoly and the handlebar mount is magnesium. Also picked up a magnesium chaincase cover. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Cant remember off the top of my head but did 73 mags have that set up or is this more than likely a 3d thing? Awesome find man! Eddy does it look at all like anything you guys have found? Or is it a totally different set up?
