Well I wanted to shoot a couple pics of the sky this afternoon to show you some wicked clouds, but went to snap pic, then "REPLACE BATTERY" comes on, starts to beep, then shuts off, what JUNK!! 30 pics and the batteries are shot I almost chucked it today, anyone use the Hewlet-Packerd (H.P.) line? I had an older one and the batteries would last almost couple hundred pics!! Then it fell off the step one day, and landed on the sidewalk and the lens broke off, I 'm going back to my old SLR 35mm/Scanner for now ;D

Oops sorry Roger (and others). My "old" HP digi camera fell and broke, it was very easy on the batteries, and always ready for action this new Concord (Sony clone)digi camera I got now, eats batteries like there's no tomorrow! it never fails, when a once in a lifetime picture oppurtunity arises, the 'ol " Replace Battery" light comes on ;D

I have a HP digital camera and It will last about 20 pictures if I don't use the display screen. If I do, it lasts about 5 - 7. That's why they say use a good rechargeable in the book. My oldest daughter bought a cannon and it lasts forever it seems. Been askin' for a EOS for a long time but it seems that I will just have to buy one myself some day. Tom
