Would a 76 nitro 440 make a good drag sled? Im thinking about making a grass drag sled up and there is one for sale locally. if not the 76 witch one?

A Mod Nitro would be competitive. Stock is tough to get competitive.

The F/A's make good grass drag sleds. You can also jump up classes and race more races with the same sled if you are running a free-air vs a liquid.

It would have to beat a 79 srx 440(thats what won the race last year) in a mod class, any rear skid, and internal mods, any clutches,primary and secondary.
