la cross was awesome. i felt great and the sleds where in top form. big track but tight corners. it was not a passing track though. after you came out of the corners you really picked up alot of speed but just not enough time or room to pass. these mod sleds are all so close it makes awesome racing. my 340 and 440 i got 3rd's with them but we where only sled lehghts behind and we where all just to even. my 440 i could drive up on them but just couldnt pass any ware. they where all running a good line and it was just good fun clean racing. my 650 is killer, i spun off the line came out of the turn 2nd and just figured that how it was going to stay becouse you just could not pass on any body but on the last lap turn one the arctic cat went a hair wide left the bottom open and i tucked my 3d down in low got on the gas sling shotted past the arctic cat like i got shot out of a cannon and went on to take the checkard flag. man was that awesome. everybody said it looked so cool, but to me it felt cool, lol. well it was good to get a win on the 650. i wanted to get some video and get in on here some how but i forgot my camera. any ways, we are in grey eagle minn. next week i'll let you know how that goes. b.s. 171

Awesome!
Who would have thought after after Mike Trapp's 440 beat Yvon Duhamel's 800 in the 71 World's Championship that anybody would ever CHOOSE to go out and race a mid-mount? And then go out and win with it by sticking it in a better line! Congrats!

Great job Bill, couldnt make it yesterday, didnt get the 250 put back together yet, and just couldnt pull the trigger on driving over there with only one sled, so we worked in the shop all day, worked on the 29 magnum, 72 650 nitro, and my wahl chassis. it was a fun day either way. Luke

thanks alot guys, the 440 tohastu 3d really does go like a son-of-a- gun, but i cant even tell you what it feels like to ride the 650. that thing is making so much power right now, it takes 100% clear mind and all of my consentration and all of my energy to drive this thing. and both of my mid mount 3d's are handleing like the best front mounts out there. just like ed said, who ever would have thunk this would be possible. thanks again guys. hopefully next week we can repeat with some more wins. b.s. 171
