Hi all, does anyone know of the stuff the upholstery people use to repair a seat foam? Vance-I had one fixed before but can't get ahold of the guy or the product name . My dog was trying to burrow a hole in it. Luckily it was before it was re-covered  You can click on the thumbnail to see a bigger picture (thanks 440kohler for the tip)   |

Hey Cory, What my dad does is clean up the hole and just cut a new piece of foam to fit the hole and glue it in. Then he makes a new cover. He has fixed several 76 mag seat foams this way and a couple of 71 magnum seat that a dog had chewed part of the hump off of.

what magnumman66 said is how I did a couple of seats. The glue I used comes in a spray can. 3m Super77 I think is the name.

Forgot to add, after the piece was glued in you can smooth it out with a grinder.

Cory I still have that 76 seat foam. I guess we should work on getting the swap done EH.

Thanks you guys! yes them puppies, she was laying in the hole this morning I know Vance's dad must have did a ton of seats in his shop I heard of that with the grinder they feather in the new piece,slick, again THANKS for the info!!!
Rick ya know I'm getting old, still have your foam hee hee, if I remember I'll send it out tomorrow I'll make a note, I know the dog never got that one. you don't have to rush sending the 76, you can use my box when you get the 72. Posting it here will remind me to do it ;D
