This swap meet is coming up fast, this is on a Friday & Saturday! It's in Farley Park, which is north on HWY15,I think. Bring your rain gear,it will usually rain 1 of the 2 days. Camping is $15 a nite, swapping is also $15. Anyone going to this fine event? If so,what do you plan on bringing? Hopefully will see some of you there. ;D ;D

It was HOT,humid & windy on Friday!! Not a very good showing for the swappers. Saturday was windy & hot, a few more swappers showed up. It was about 2/3 full. There were some deals to be had. One guy picked up a S-D TNT & a Nordic,$50 for the pair plus a bunch of parts thrown in. A farmer showed up with a 72 American 440,wanted $300,but said he would take $100. I offered him $25 for it,he got PO! NOT a good panel on the sled, everyone was busted, track was iffy, engine turned over but didn't run. He wouldn't take my offer of $25 but sold it to someone else for $25. I picked up a JD 300 which runs(traded a 76 S-D Everest for it), a 15 1/2x121" INNOV center drive track,$20(not the best tracks around, but a good track is still a track). Picked up a decent track for my 78 JD Spitfire,$40. Picked up some NOS Rupp track repair kits,2 in a package with rivits,$10 each. I sold some S-D & Rupp parts,a mini-bike,gave a bunch of parts away. Got a hot tip on 3 more JD Spitfire's ,and another nice Rupp 15 1/2x121" center drive track. It was fun BS'ing with the guys from the sled sites. Had fun riding my Rupp ATV around, plus I drove a handi-cap,3 wheel electric cart most of the time.Never had to charge it up either. Was a fun time, but at the same time a little disappointing! DID I SAY IT WAS HOT DOWN THERE!
