I might be dreaming, but I thought I recall one of you mentioning that you found a way to replace the bezel on a tach/speedo? If so, would like to hear the trick to it if willing to share. I have a lot of donor tachs/speedos to use to fix up a few nicer ones but with dented bezels. The wife might not like me much if I modify the can opener to do it. Hope everyone is getting their sleds ready for the show in Waseca this weekend! Travis

hu Travis we used a ring compressor a cpuple times to "slightly" shrink the housing just enough until the bezel and lens popped off, I hope it works, my co-pilot is going through family issues now so my trip to Waseca is a no-go, I'd go myself but am nervous travelling myself long distances and my eyes are still not 100%,just not meant to be , have fun you all!!! and feel free to flood this place with pictures!!!!!!!!! I wish they were with us now, will say prayers for them thanks,,,

Thanks Cory for the tip. A couple of hose clamps, a screwdriver and some patience and below is the link to the end result. It didn't just pop off, as this one was still secured pretty well, and I wouldn't put it on my list of fun things to do on a Friday night, but it can be done. It's only letting me post a 9KB photo, so I think we used up about all of our photo space. Not the greatest of photos anyway, but you get the idea of how it turned out. Sorry, no before pictures, but I was told "I hope you didn't pay much for that thing" - which I didn't. pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/rupp4402000/detail?.dir=16d3re2&.dnm=b9c2re2.jpg&.src=ph
