Hi sorry i didn't respond to messages sooner, took n "unexpected" holiday Never EVER look under a lawn tractor when the mower is running ------OUCH!! finally got my vision back Rick I will get seat to you, was going to that fri morning but decided to cut grass early before I went to work and uhhh LOL...

That's a hard way to check the cut height. Glad you didn't decide to see if the blades were sharp too! Hope you are ok! But, hey, don't feel bad - I don't recommend drilling things while holding them. The drill bit might slip off and go almost through your hand and leave a 3/8" hole behind.

Oh yeah all's good, you wonder how 2 little blades of grass can make life miserable LOL. I ran over a styrofoam cup and it was making a racket underneath so I thought I'd see what was and I'll never do that again. Oh those drill bits that have no mercy, it happens so quickly
