Man O Man did we have Rupps at the Kruger Aid/Rupp Reunion in Waseca on Saturday. I think we had close to 30 rupps there. It was a great time and the weather was perfect!!! They had an awesome turnout. I believe there was close to 75 snowmobiles give or take a few. Rupp was by far the winner for the most snowmobiles there. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will. DB

What can I say?! I'm speechless. I had to stop several times during the day and catch myself from the thoughts of it all, but this was incredible, as I figured it might be. This however, I did not fully anticipate - the support from you Rupp guys made me proud, to honor one of your fallen the way you did. Great job and thanks Dennis for getting the Rupp Reunion going!
I knew it'd be a good day when I started that morning, loading sleds before the crack of dawn and heading for Waseca - it was those feelings of anticipation and excitement that filled me just like it always would when Tracy and I would be off to who knows where for some sled related ordeal. It really hit me hard Saturday that he wasn't there physically (but we all know he and Alec were definitely there in spirit!).
For those that weren't able to attend, there were some great Rupp specimens there - some fine Americans, Magnums, customs, etc. I'll try to get some pictures up as well when I get a moment. I must say that's the first time I've seen a sled behind a street rod, let alone 3, and 1 thought he'd be the only one there like that! Thanks too to Tom and Rick for your help.
I haven't heard how much money was brought in, but even if everyone in attendance gave a buck a piece, it'd still have been a success! There were tons of people there, a lot of great looking cars and bikes and a lot of fun to be had besides, but the greatest thing of all was knowing that there were so many great and caring people. Even all of us can't undo the horror generated by one person, but hopefully it'll put the fear of God into the next conceiving such a thought knowing there is a horde waiting to deal with them!
Thanks again to everyone! Thank you thank you thank you!

One more thing... if you talk to Charlie or Brianne Root, also give them a big thanks for all their efforts for the Kruger Aid Fest, especially the snowmobile related portion of it. If you don't know Charlie, he's the guy always there helping to lift your sled!

Well said Travis. For myself, the first part of the day seemed like all "fun and games" until later in the afternoon when I walked up to the big, blown up photos of Tracy on display where Charlie was sitting. I realized at that moment I was never again going to see "TA Kruger" show up on my caller ID. It was at that moment I was reminded why we were all there. It was clear the event was a resounding success. I am sure Hilary was very touched watching the events of the day from her hospital bed. To all the people who had a hand in organizing this event, you can be very proud of your efforts and everyone appreciates your hard work.

Well here are some pictures of the Rupps at Waseca (sorry I didn't have enough room for all the others there). Tracy's Keith's Rick's Kevin's Bromley's (sorry if it is spelled wrong) Bill brought Gene Bloom's 73 ; and Dale's custom Denis's Tom's (mine and my son's 75) Looking down the rows Denis took others and will post soon!
