I am looking for an original NOS pair of running board treads for my current '77 Nitro resto. If you have some let me know. Thanks.

Yep, I put the nicest new track on the sled, still finishing up the final stuff on the chassis. This thing is looking like a million bucks - of course, that's about what i have into it. Glad I ran into you, I would have been putting the old track back on it. Hoping to hit some shows this winter if I can get the body parts on and lined up ok!

Looking forward to seeing them done. Glad I could help. Is the one your restoring now the one with the heavy ported motor ?

When I did mine I bought a sheet of the stock from McMaster Carr cut them out myself. You can find them on the internet, they are a good source for items. Call them and have them send you a catalog, its really hard to find things on their web site unless you know exactly what you want.

Hey Wigman. I'd like to see your work too. If you go to photobucket.com and sign up for free, then upload your pictures. Under your pic's you will see 3 lines with the address and file name one is a url address the next is and image address and the next is a html. Right click on the img and then paste it to your post. Very easy! If you open the post in a seperate window you don't have to go back and forth just click and paste and click and paste.

Hey Ken: Do you have the item mnumber for that matting from McMaster - I think I found it on their site #6897T511 - they sell it in a 24" x 48" sheet and it is 1/8" thick. Is this the stuff? Let me know, looks like it would work. They price it at $21.70 for the sheet. Keith

Tom: I am getting a collage of pics of the resto from the time I found it under a piece of plywood and a tarp in with a pile of crap to what it is now. Not done yet, but looking mighty nice! I will get to it soon, stay tuned! Thanks. Keith
