The Yamaha Vmax4 and the Xenoah shared nearly identical port configuration. Yamaha added triple exhaust porting to the 800, looks just like Kevin's tidy work. Some racers spun the 800 over 11,000 rpm at the crank.

Kevin, have you done a dyno test with boyesen petals on stock reed cages versus your new V-force reeds ?? not yet josh, haven't mastered the manual load and throttle yet, had a very peeky set up on it first time out that was a mistake, its, a work in progress , suck,s a lot of time, I will run a milder engine for base line then start changing things around then I,ll let you know, going to add egts and afr ,hey how close is your next househould of people how quick do they get pee 8-)d at this deal? chipper our husky dog all ready is pissed about it,need to get some noise control going

Dad's neighbors are about 1/4 mile away. So we don't have problems with that. We did at one time have a stray cat that hung around us in the shop when we were out there. We named him Nitro. I would get him out of the shop before I would make a dyno run on my 340. Otherwise the poor bastard would of been deaf !!! LOL !!! The last time I ran my 340 on the dyno he never returned.

Maybe people bought 250's because they felt sorry for them? Rupp wanted a sled to compete with the Kitty Kat?

Kevin have you found more than say 30 hp out of these yet? Im being serious. And im very interested. We dynoed our 250 probably 40 times and barely broke the 30 hp barrier. In stock form im talking.

Gotta ask, what's the bore and stroke of the 250?.......OK, found it. I wonder if crankcase compression ratio is high enough.

No not at all, we know with pipes that number would jump dramatically but seems even low considering how heavy the liquid 76's were. Hard to believe they would be fun at all on the trails. Magnesium, im pretty sure that josh did some crank case stuffing but i cant remember. Maybe he will chime in and let us know.

also working on run in stand What is the point of the pillow block bearings and jackshaft on a run in stand? All you need is a fixed shaft for the dyno support. Also your dyno would work better if you got the dyno positioned so the drain was at the bottom (6 o'clock position).
