Hi. I've got a 1976 Alouette Brute (afaik same as Rupp Nitro) which was rolled off the same line as the Nitros after Rupp bought them out, so since there's not many Alouette boards I thought I'd try here.
I've got the brake lever/cable, but need the rest of the assembly. It's a mechanical disk pad setup. Does anybody know where I may find one? Located in Ontario.
Thx.

You can also check with your local Arctic Cat dealer or AC online, many of the parts are still available - same setup as used on the El Tigre.

Thanks for the tips guys.. I'll follow up on those links.
I did pull an assy off of a AC Jag 3000, but it was offset by about a quarter inch so doesn't really fit properly.
Hopefully I'll have luck with one of the links above.

Spoke to Bill today, parts on the way. After a closer look found out why my cat parts didn't work... cuz my brake disk had moved on the shaft. DOH! Ah well, I'll get the real parts and now I put the brakes back onto the Jag ;D

I recieved the parts last week, once again, thanks Bill. Was a pleasure to deal with you. Now, my question for anybody that can help me...... The brake assembly has a ratcheting device on it. I'm new to this particular brake setup, as I have not seen this ratcheting type on my A/Cats or other sleds. 1. Is it a self adjuster? Does it take up slack when the pads wear down? 2. The moving arm that locks onto the adjusting wheel has a hole at the far end of it. It looks like I should perhaps be putting a spring in there? The logical place for the other end of the spring would be the hole in the black bracket attached to the brake assembly - the bracket that guides the recoil rope.... I've tried to find a good picture, but with this sled being L/C it has the plastic deflector to the rad right above the brakes, so I haven't been able to see pics or diagrams of how everthing looks when it's all assembled properly... and of course since the assembly was missing when I got the sled I wasn't able to see it there either.javascript:add("%20???") I must admit though that I'm impressed by the quality of the manufacturing on this thing. Rupp certainly did things nice!
