You and about 20 other Rupp guys. I'll settle for just the mag housing. I have everything eles to build 2 or 3 TR440SR-3 motors

It was an SR case it has 2 impulse nipples. I seen that some one asked that question but on my computer you can see the mag nipple plain as day. But then what is a SR case but just a S case with 2 nipples.

SR case is a little larger diameter where the cylinder skirts enter the case, maybe some other changes I don't know. Last year I used a standard case and had it machined out for the larger cylinder skirts and is working good.

Last year I used a standard case and had it machined out for the larger cylinder skirts and is working good. Are you sure you had a 73 S case and not just a TR440 case. My 73 SR cylinders will fit in a 73 and 72 S case. To be honest with you all 400 and 440 chrome bore cylinders will interchange with each other. The same with all chrome bore 340 and 295 cylinders.

Your probably right Rick, I believe it was a TR440 case. I thought their was only 2 cases, the TR440 and the TR440SR. Shows how much I know. ;D

With a hammer and a hacksaw you can get anything to fit.
