the widowmaker with the two stroke and torque converter has to be the fastest mini-bike ever. will pull right away from a black widow.

hey rick get that widow maker going how big is that sachs engine how many cc,s , I had a speedway silver shadow had 125 sachs with 5 speed trans and chrome expansion chamber had the police out all the time , had grass drags back then took a 250 bultaco to eliminate it the drags beat up on a lot of full size motorcycle,s back a dads shops they heard about it and would show up with big bike and want to race would just crank it up and spank everything up to a 250 was in 1972 , had a black widow also ran it a few time,s in the mini bike class at local track most of the other bikes were jt 60 Yamaha,s at the time , I got 2nd place, my older brother ran the silver shadow he got first place and lapped me in five laps , still got a chaparral t95 mini bike got 95 cc Fuji with troque converter been collecting parts to restore, never going to grow up , kevin went from a Montgomery wheels go kart with hard tire,s and belt tightner to a rupp digger to black widow, then silver shadow , then t-80 chaparral on methnoal, t 100 chap, rmx 125 , hodaka combat wombat, hodaka super combat, hodaka thunder dog 250, Yamaha yz250 haven't had a bike since 1977. it was a hell of a lot of fun Attachment Deleted

Ruppman, It's nice to see another RST out there, is your bike original? I have to ask you what does your vin number end with, mine is ends in 010 the 10th one made, the highest number I've seen is 179.....I was told there were not many made at the end of the run in 1975.....

Mine ends in 189. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted It was discovered in Maine and was in about the same condition as yours. Did need a new piston. I left the Me. plate on it. 1980 is when it was last registered.

Hey I have one, what was the cost for restoration? It's hard to figure the cost because of the parts we had between us and the parts traded, NOS parts are getting hard to find......What do the last numbers on your bike's serial number end with? Can you post a pic of your RST? Thanks Rooney

Hey, I have the same bike, unrestored. About how much did yours cost to restore? I'm looking to sell mine, do you know about how much it's worth before and after restoration? Also, mine says 1977 but I know they stopped making them after this 1975 model; you happen to know anything about that? It's so hard to find this kind of information on the internet because of how old it is!
