My friend is wondering and he has 76 alouette 440 and that 440 has a bad bearings In it but he has good 77 crank will all 76 top end work good on 77 crank?
Thanks and he's hoping to get it running before Waconia.

Thanks and he's hoping to get it running before Waconia. it will work have to use 77 waterpump bracket ,also may have to have different thrust washers for top needle bearing 77 rod is wider use,s different bearing pin diameter is the same 20mm |

Wait are u saying that the thrust washer that's does on between the piston and the rod that sits on the needle bearing?
Also the water pump mounts that goes on the outside of cyl wall is little different? What the difference? Not sure which bracket are u talking about.
