Thats the same motor that came in the 1970 440 magnum, it has the angled spark plugs. COOL! Does it go pretty good? If you can't find any rear sprockets let me know. I'll dig some up for you. Yes !! it run very good !

Hi Guys New to this here been getting 71 440WT & 72 40hp Yankee ready. 7 months to do these two Rupps (with Brandt's help) and others. Sticks saw them on VS. We emailed about oil. Well just letting you know there's one more RUPP guy out there (ME) I had them when I was 11, now 49 and getting back into it big time. These sleds are done and going Saturday to Mass. to pick up a 75 340f/c nitro. Hey I'll talk to you later. Tom from CT. hope the pic came out

Welcome to the Board. Do you have plans to restore your machine ? If so you can start a new thread in this section and show your progress as it unfolds. Nice machine to take some pride in !
Dave.

I offered to trade a nice little Rupp GT300 for a 340 Polaris TX oval sled Mike built. But his wife put a stop to it, she said no more projects for the summer, its time to get the boat out!
