Hey Al: You should post this under the Rupp Riders section - take lots and lots of pics and keep them coming as you go along. Looks like you got your work cut out for you! I see you got Dave helping you, yeah, that'll make it easier. Wig

I guess I started a trend with keeping the sled upside down - it does make it a lot easier to work on the undersides and suspension. I've been doing them this way for years, might help make it easier to work on Al's ventillation shaft he has there in the belly of this thing. There was also a brand new pair of side panels on ebay, don't know if the guy still has them or not. Wig

Al: When you have it upside down like that, the drive axle is really easy to remove so you can put new bearings and seals in it - they are cheap parts that save a lot of headache later on, as well as lots of chaincase oil! Wig

Hey Al: The only part I can see by looking at the parts manual for the 74 Nitro II is the base of the handlebar support where it attaches to the tunnel. Other than that I don't see any part that even begins to resemble that one. Hope this helps, great progress on the sled!! One more thing - be careful laying things on that scooter seat - you don't want to rip it!! Wig
