Small Hirth engine & last build...

I won't have time to get the hood finished this year.
So,I painted some stuff on it.It will stay like this
for the winter,at least it's a "rider". I am actually
having a blast doing this to my sleds,it's part "rat"
now.

I picked up 2 windshield blanks from "palo",a Scorpion
guy,at Willow River,MN swap in Aug.I used the trim piece
to get my contour for the bottom where holes are.I fit it,
cut it,fit it some more,then tried it to see how it would
fit.After it was on,I marked the shield,to get some idea
how the corners should be.The tape shows how much I cut
off.I will order some trim for the top of shield,to
complete the job.Oh,the blanks cost $5.00 each,so for
about $10,I have a new windshield.
