'76 Nitro 340 Question.... Looking at one of these, and it has some unusual traits...instead of a "Nitro" decal on the side of the tunnel, it has "Rupp" ones, and it doesn't have the big wrap around grab handle...it just has a single small Rupp grab handle above the snowflap. It's supposedly a two owner, original sled...any input/thoughts?

Is everything eles Nitro, like does it have the bumper, Nitro skid, Nitro ski stance, Nitro tunnel. If it does it sounds like somebody put some Magnum stuff on it.

Everything else is Nitro...the holes are in the tunnel for the wrap around grab bar, but they don't look like they've ever been used...I saw a couple of '77's on Google Images with the Rupp decal...

I don't know what Magnum parts it would have but all of the 74-78 nitro's had holes for the side bumper and for the grab-handle on the rear. The 75 F/A did not have the wrap-around bumper but had the grab handle & Rupp tunnel sticker. Can you see the vin number stamped in the tunnel?
