Wild Goose Chase?

Hello everyone,



I am trying to locate the 1973 Rupp Magnum that I rode as a kid, my Dad was a Rupp Dealer in Lake Lillian, MN. He bought me a 73' Magnum less the original engine for a daily driver, we installed a 340 fan and cut out the hood to fit ram-horn exhaust pipes. The sled was sold @10-12 years ago to someone at a swap meet in Le Sueur, MN. I have no other information on the purchaser.



The hood was lettered from the previous owner "Radar" and "The Red One"



Any help in locating the sled would be appreciated.

Did it have a headlight fiberglassed in ??

No, it did not. Daytime only rides.

A few years back I bought a 73 Magnum that had the hood cut out for the ram horn exhaust with a 340 fan like you said. But this one has a headlight glassed in. The hood is the only thing I have left of it.

It has Michigan 01 stickers on the hood so it most likely isn't from MN.
