Thanks Kerry.I like to build my Rupps different & yes,I do look for parts that I need,at a friends junk yard & swap meets.He has lots of different sleds that I can get parts from.But mostly,I get parts from my inventory. I hope that some of my ideas get used on other peoples sleds,thats why I post my builds,to try & get others to post what they do to their sleds.It seems,everyone has great ideas when it comes to building sleds,whether they go original or not.When I started doing Rupps,all I ever saw were put back to or close to original.I thought they were nice,but they were boring.So I started building them the way I wanted them to be,not original,but semi-custom.So in go different engines,different tracks,different paint & just plain,different ideas.Some of the ideas I have used,get reused again & again.To everyone who watches these builds,thanks.

Mowing the lawn yesterday,got in the way of working on sled.But today,I had a productive day.Worked on both bottom panels.Also finished welding the tailpipe up,welded on bracket for tach & primed the handlebar support & later tonight,I painted it.I won't use the other one I made from another year.I will use it later.

Has a Skiroule speedo & a Scorpion tach.

The muffler has to be bolted in place yet.

Panel has a "few" flaws,some scratches & pin holes I missed.
Buy hey,it's a rider & they weren't meant to be perfect!!
With parts from other sleds,this will be a semi-custom build.

This is what I came up with for a mesh cover for the
fan.It should work just fine.For some reason,these are
getting hard to find for the 295/340's.
Haven't really been working to hard,the temps
have been in the 90's,way too hot for me.

I couldn't wait for the weather to cooperate,I painted
this panel 2 days ago.It dried nice also.I put it on the
sled today.


Also put the exhaust on & sealed it.It was really hot/humid
today,the sweat was really running.
