Just brought home a 1976 Rupp Nitro 440. It is a non runner and has not run in 10 years. Appears most of it is there and in a little tough shape. I will apologize in advance for all my questions. I looked at this a few weeks back and did not buy. After reading through many many pages of this forum I realized the parts are still available and much of the knowledge is still there. So I will tear into it. I have started a list of things I need and will start looking,
Primary clutch - Looks like I go with a Comet so will try to find a good used if I can.
Exhaust springs.
At some point I may replace the belly pan. Mine is in really bad shape where the bumper mounts. I heard maybe a guy named Lee Fredrickson may have these pieces
Will start with cleaning fuel system, rebuild fuel pump and trying to get it running. Need to get my clutch right away.
