Hey guys, those spindles can be re-done. All the ones I have incorporate a steel sleeve inside the spindle which, most of the time, are a real problem to get out and end up needing to be bored out. After you get the sleeve out, I true up the spindle hole on the hone and then make replacement bushings out of C630 Bronze and then hone the hole for a good fit on the bolts. Rick Weaver has replacement spring slides for the ski's. I realize a lot of you don't have access to the equipment I have, but all of this stuff can be rebuilt. Hope some of this helps. Mike

Good to know! I didnt think you could, course a couple spindles I had were so worn out the insert had egged out the cast too much.I managed to raid a couple off a sport chassis that were really decent for my 74.They get greased religiously. Kerry
