As you guys know I lost my ride last year so I had to come up with a new one. So here's what I found. I picked up a 73 Nitro 440 from Kurt Long, a 136' suspension and lower panels from Bill Stull and 72 Nitro exhaust from Lonny Custer. I also needed a track and drivers and located them also. We also needed to extend the tunnel so I picked up a piece of aluminum and made that. The seat needed to be redone so we added 1 1/2" of foam to the bottom to make it taller for comfort then Glenda reupholstered it. After putting it all together this is what we came up with. She rides and drivers pretty good. Joe

Hey Joe, That is way to KOOOOOL>>>>Just a thought, if you get 2 Bungy Straps - 1 Case Of ( Miller Light) Beer - Drink about half the Case - Mount it on the Back behind the seat with the Bungy Cords, Poke a hole thru the Case so you can see the Brake light - It would still be Legal for the Trail right? ?? Just a Thought>>>>>Will the machine be at RuppFest? ROONEY

If I can fit it on the trailer with the Magnums I will bring it. This thing really hooks up good with this set up-no track spin at all. If Dave wants Glenda to do another wheelie video this one will do a good job of it.

I do have a 70 Sprint with the extra 12 under it. If I knew how to weld aluminum i'm sure I could figure an IFS front for it. I have been considering building an IFS Rupp-just can't decide if I want to fit the IFS to the Rupp chassis or fit the Rupp to the IFS chassis. Sort of a Rupp IFS racer toy. Leaning towards fitting the Rupp to the IFS chassis as I think it would be easier and safer. If I do this it will be fast so it can't be a cobble job.

Do you have any close up pics of that Sprint suspension ? Is that the wheelie sprint from rupp fest? I have completely sold out of my gold paint and have placed the secret in my fault!!!!

Al, Yep thats the Rupp Fest wheelie sprint. That track and suspension came out of a 97 Polaris XLT. That track had 1" paddles so I had to lower the chain case to fit it. Should have done that with the long track, would have been a lot easier fitting the track and axle. It's really a pretty simple conversion. I can take some close ups of it if you want and send them to you or just call and I will explain it all. 906-341-8122 Joe

Yes I would like to see that. Send me some pics when you get a chance, also show how you lowered the case. How did that sled ride on the trails ? Did the extra travel take all the fun out of ridding it?

My aching knees and back like this ride a lot better than the boogies that were under it. It's surprisingly quick and will go anywhere with this set up.
