Started off with a 1970 Rupp sprint 40, seat was trash, motor fell apart if you touched it, seized. Sat a very long time. Useing a 1971 Rupp 440 w/t i also had. I combined the two together useing all the parts i could. Now it has the 440 w/t motor ,a 1971 Rupp 44 hood, w/t seat and 1970 tool box, with a 1970 off brand exhaust that i put comeing out of the side. Its nothing compared to the restorations you guys do out there but this is what i could do. The first picture is how it looked on the day i picked it up

I love it! The best part is that it is vintage, it is red and it will be one more Rupp that hits the trails this year!
Very cool! ;D

Looks great. Did you fabricate the Windshield Face Plate? I looking for one for my 1970 Sprint 34 project. Yours looks real nice. The home made job I have looks terrible and doesn't fit properly. Let me know how you did it. Jim

I just took the original windshield Face Plate off the 1970 Rupp i had and cut it to fit the 1971 Rupp hood. your best bet i would say is to find one off a parts sled some where.
