Friggin' gaskets! Years ago a friend asked me to tune up his 72 340 Nitro.He got beat by a 73 295! The 72 340 had a 295 carb gasket,from the factory!??

Rick, I was just rattling your chain, No Pun intended, I thought you could handle it, I do appreciate everyone's help on here, I did find out what the problem was with the Magnum Idle issue on my own........

I knew you would be Rick..........I'm glad I had the engine kit I got from you to fix the problem, the 71 440 mag will be just for show, no relic riding, can't trust the design of the carb maniflod on the 71, just Shiits out the gaskets between the manifold and the heads, I can see why they put the fix on the 72 S motors....Oh if you come across a 72 -73 Nitro track in good shape let me know OK........No more rattling your chain Rick........Rooney

LOL Sorry Steve but it's kind of fun picking on you. and I must say tou do handle it well. The only Rupp thacks I have are for the 75 F/A and one or 2 not so great 74-78 rubber tracks.

The sign I have is a double sided sign and it was less money than the one sided sign for sale on vintage sleds...... it has some small pitting, otherwise NICE & CLEAN......
