This is just a test. I had a few shots of Al, on the ol 75 F/A. and had some one tape Al and i at the end. There is a shot of my sled idling with out the hood. At least you can hear it Run. Trust me ...... Not a great video. But i will work out my kinks and learn how to film. So posts worth watching. Dave.

I was able to change the video and place it up on you tube. Its still the same video but, it shows Al on his 71 mag vs my Sprint. The last shot was us side by side at full throttle. It was a dead heat ! I would like to set up the tri-pod and give the drag another shot ! Sorry so shaky. It was cold and raining. Our camera guy was just a wee bit cold.

I wont throw the vids all over the board. I am trying to figure out the editing and lighting. Man this thing has more instructions than the Tohatsu ! Not much happening today, so i just played with filming my guitar. I figure this will be great for some events this summer. Asphalt drags. Should have this thing down by then. Dave.
Feel free to laugh ;D

Dave: I think if you had some traction devices in that track of yours, old Al might have a hard time getting away from you! Your other vids were quite entertaining, Jimmi Hendrix, look out

Hi Kieth, I was toying with Square Claws. I don't want to tear up the track. But ,something like this seems not as aggressive as what else may be avail. I can pick up a bag of 24 from my Buddy Brandt. What is your opinion ? Do you know of another kind ? Thanks, Jimmy H

Okay?! Anyway, Dave there should be a setting on the camera for day light, or incandescent lighting. Be careful with the florescent lights as they do weird things to the lighting if it is set to auto. Brandt, Dave could probably install windows while playing the guitar and snowmobiling. ;D Tom

That's a Killer tune Eddie ! I would totally destroy it Better give me a few more years ! LOL ;D My daughter is Wicked at the game Guitar hero, so i started thinking if her fingers can move that fast, she would be great at a normal guitar. So, I bought her a B C Rich and a Fender amp. She has not picked it up once Well, I couldn't let it sit there. I cant read sheet music nor do i know what the notes are on the neck of this thing. I play by listening to sound I have picked up on about 12 or 13 songs and came up with a few of my own, like the first one that is above Star Spangled Banner. I usally play in the front room with the head phones on. Its just another tool to get rid of the daily stress. I don't play in front of any one either. Too Embarrassed. So........You guys are the only ones i have played for Dave Hey Tom ! Thanks for the tip. I have allot to learn. It will take me some time as i have just graduated from the old Magnavox CVK 350 Video Cassette Recorder. I bought that new 19 years ago. Still works ! But just a wee bit out-dated

Jimmy . . er . .Dave: The claws work pretty well, actually, especially in hardpack snow. They are not real good on ice when compared to the picks, but they do add traction even on ice. I've used them a few times and what I have always liked about them is their low profile. Also, they don't grab so solidly that they rip out of the track like the spikes do. For more safety for your track, you can also use the backing plates which are larger than the t-bolts and won't pull through very easy. I know how you feel about the track, it's tough to drill holes in them, knowing they are fairly hard to replace. What I have had the best luck with are the more aggressive double klaws that are held on with 2 bolts and have both long and short sharpened teeth that are angled to give better bite. With the 2 bolt design, they don't spin around and stay in position for the best traction. I think you would be pleased with the increased traction, I know those 440 Sprints spun like crazy (my first sled was a 44 Sprint) and they needed the extra grip. It's up to you if you want to poke your track full of holes, but I haven't found them to hurt the longevity of the track at all as long as the rubber is in good shape. I would also use the tunnel protectors to keep them from hitting the underside of your tunnel. Good luck with the traction project, you will pull better wheelies for sure! And . . . . . don't "ride the white horse" like Jimmy did - we'd like to keep you around for awhile!!!
