Hey Rip: Without a doubt - One of the nicest restos I have ever seen on one of the 72's. I loved the Yankee - real sleeper with the 440. Great job, put the Nitro up there so we can see that as well. Wig

Thanks for the compliments guys! I wish I took a bunch of photos before and during the resto to share with you...but I didn't think of it until I was already too far into it. For those who asked about the aluminum on the motor. I bead blasted the entire engine (cases, jugs, etc.) and then sprayed them with a high heat cast aluminum paint that I have used in the past for auto restoration. You can find the paint at most automotive parts stores. I think it is made by Dupli Color. I was thinking about spraying the fresh bead blast with high heat clear, but was afraid of yellowing over time.
