I went to work yesterday and expected to to get ready for a road trip. As i started map questing my stops I, was trying to pull an address in the next state. My run was from Buffalo to Irving Pa.
Its about 2.5 hours one way.
The address would not come up so, i called the customer at 7:00 in the am. As I started asking where she was, she informed me that Home Depot has placed the wrong address and the address was that of her home, and I was to meet at the cottage in Rushford N.Y.
This worked out well. I ran home and got a pair of shorts and started my day. I made this my last call of the day.
This is the part that worked out well. I do not get cell phone reception in Pennsylvania. Now i am the only one that knows I'm will not be traveling to PA. My Mom and Dad Have a 33' trailer in Rushford, right on the lake. They go on Thursday and stay till Sunday. I shut my phone off and dropped in on my parents. They took the boat, and i jumped on the jet-ski. My Dad took the gas can with him so i could fill up again. I spent about 3 1/2hours flying around the lake. After I was done I went Back to the trailer and sat down to a nice Steak and Potato dinner.
I left around 7:00 pm and had an hour + drive home. Not a bad day, huh? when I turned my cell back on I had 9 new voice mails! I enjoy my job but, really enjoy an afternoon of work with a quiet phone ;D Dave
