I'm parting out a 75 Rupp Sport 340 that has a Zenoah 340 in it. The engine is tight,is it worth saving? Try and get it unfroze? The guy I got it from,said he didn't know what it was.The tag was underneath,not on the top like most are marked. The pull rope is cable on this one. Can anyone shed some light on this engine? Good? Bad? I thought the Zenoah only came in the later ones,mostly 77/78. Anyway,let me know. Thanks.

I have a 76 sprint with same motor I think. 340 twin f/c with steel cable for the tug.
had the rupp/xenoah sticker over top of a chaparal/fuji motor name plate though.
This was a real good sled. Started easy ran great.
Unfortunately mine swallowed a loose nut from somewhere and gobbled up the piston skirts.....
If you were close I'd be interested in that lump, but Im in Ontario.
