Here's a hood of my buddy's that should have NOT been repaired, some kid took a grinder to it and ground the decals off, ground through the hood etc whatb a mess, anyhow here's a '75 SST Snojet F/A hood, the color matches dead on but in the pics it is over exposed and looks wrong (too light ) the pics start with done first to before on the bottom . Usually I put do it all in one shot then put the black later, however it just "HAS TO GO" tomorrow so I saved some time, fiberglass and body filler over un prepped glass, dirt and grease etc what a MESS

Man, I wish you lived closer. I would pay you to do the cowl on my sled. From what i see, you are damn good at your trade !

I have been lazy on the sanding. Ill have it finished by the time its time to ride. At least its the final piece of my project. Dave.

Thanks for the plug Dave! I really didn't want to do this particualr hood but he couldn't find another one and well, you know. they filled every hole including the windshield slots that was a real bearcat.
One pic you can see all the fiberglass I broke off before I even started on it . I have more pics of it before, I will find them and post. In case your wondering, the guy that owns them is Doug Ruf (thunderjet and sst guy) This hood dragged on for almost 2 years, the first guy attempted it and had it for about 18 months. And don't even ask about the scoop, it's a hand made one.There will be a party when this one id done
