Taking a ride down to the Oak Hill show in Green County, NY tomorrow morning with my Dad, will be posting pics when I get back. Just wanted to let you know, wondering if anyone else is going? Wig

You really should grab that one on ebay - you just don't see them in that knd of condition very often. You'd be way ahead starting out with something that nice. Wig

Thanks for the pics Wig. Do we know the owner of the Rupps? Man, they both look super clean, and that 71 is awesome. Do you know Joe Tripiano? He has run that show in the past. He's into Raiders and Polaris TX Chargers, last I knew. That show used to be in the winter. I went once, but it was 4 and a half one way. Made for a long day. Can't wait to see the rest of the photos. Steve

Steve: I think the guy's name was Craig Morehouse, didn't get a chance to talk to him as he wasn't around but his sleds are perfection. I always loved the 71 Mag's, but that '70 was unbelievable - I have never seen one of these before. Immaculate sleds, hope we can get him on the Rupp board, I'm trying to get ahold of him. Others at the show told me he has a wealth of info on Rupp history. Wig

Wig, I've noticed that sleds always look better in picture than in person, but man... it looks like there were a lot of near perfect to perfect sleds there. That TN'T and the Blizzard are flawless. The Cats are so clean. That Sno Traveler is pristine. Some neat wierd stuff too, like that Trakcycle. How many sleds registered? Did you stay for trophies? What sleds won? When I attended that show, they had a team of judges combing over the sleds. Same this show, or registered voters? Hope we can get that Rupp owner on the board. He gives Bob Sapp a run for his money! Thanks Wig!

Steve: The sleds that look clean are clean. I put up some of the best up to this point, I will get to the others probably this afternoon. Probably the most impressive sled there, in my opinion, was the '72 Skiroule Mount Airy racer - it is all original and has an extensive racing history. Amazing condition for a raced sled, the guy must have been a great driver to avoid damage to that polycarbonate hood (ala SkiDoo and Rupp) - other than some hairline surface cracks the thing is excellent. I would estimate about 30 sleds total, and there were a few parts vendors there as well, no Rupp stuff. It was a nice show, I don't know who won the trophies but there was actual judging plus a crowd favorite trophy. I wish more people would have attended because some real nice sleds showed up and the weather was perfect. Wig

Can't wait to see the rest of the pics Wig. I was only saying that my sled always looks better to me in pictures than in person. Thanks for taking the time to post them all. I've seen that Skiroule racer before. It sure is a great piece of history. There's an awesome Bullet racer on ebay now. Only 140 miles on it. Super rare sled in super rare condition. I'd love to have a Bullet like that someday. Steve

Wow, for a show with only 30 or so sleds, it was very high quality for the most part. That SnoJet is sweet, so are the old Skidoos. I can't believe the Rupp guy used those rusty old tie down bars on those nice skis. I hope he didn't have to travel far. You would have thought he would have used a couple of towels or something to protect those skis! I'm sure he knows what he's doing though. He must, with the gorgeous restorations!
