Anyone out there have any experience,....good or bad,....with the HP bulletin mod specs for the Xenoah engines? All I have ever heard was "that doesnt work". Anyone ever actually have an engine that was modded to these specs? Can you share how the motor behaved or performed?

Hey Dale, I bought one that was done allready, soon as I get it together I'll let you know how it runs, the only thing I'm doing differant is going with 40mm carbs rather than cutting the orig. 38's. I know their a little harder starting but I believe it works. Talked to a couple others in the past they said the peak power was more like 9500 rpm rather than 9200, if they dynoed them or

Cory, let us know how the sled performs. As I stated earlier, all anyone ever seems to hear about the HP mod specs for the liquids is second hand information. I realize raising the exhaust port per HP instructionwill make the engine "peaky",...but for pure straight line racing I dont see how this would be a negative. Curious how yours will perform.

Thanks Magnumforce! I am curious about installing a different sleeve inside the existing cylinder casting, with more transfers and less gap at the intake. I just need some more homework time. Jeff

I have a customer with a 440Lc and he followed the bulletins word for word BUT added a set of my .080 over pistons and had to jet carbs very big. His sled flat flies. It's a drag sled and he doesn't leisure ride it. He has his own timers and did much testing on the clocks to know for sure, instead of going by the "seat of the pants method" for testing performance

I appreciate any help I can find. I will be entering in a class that has been well established by Yamaha and Mercury. I will be running open mod 440 and will be looking for a more powerful expansion chamber than what was offered. Any ideas? Thanks! Jeff

Brandt, I would like to buy a set of your .080 pistons. Are these the Wiseco's or other? Thanks! Jeff
