Thanx guys! Gave Dennis B. the 72 400 Nitro, but he won't trade for the 73 Magnum. Also have a 74 Nitro II in the works (for drags I hope), another 73 American. My son just bought his 1st sled, a 75 Nitro F/C 340. But for now it's just for riding.

Hey Dave. The 72 American on the left has been in the family since new. But have had 2 Americans and 2 Yankees since about 89 to 91. My uncle was a dealer from 72 - 76 and I worked for him off and on as my family lived 150 miles away. I was around and helping on that same 72 in the picture. I have always been a fan of Rupps, but, do enjoy all old classics. My kids (4 of them) are now 20+ and fans of Rupps as well. My youngest has claim to my Yankee 25 and it is a missmash of parts. So she wants to make it into a ladybug custom for shows. My youngest boy now has a project sled he bought on his own with out talking to me 1st. He made a good find, we got it to run and boy is it sweet! It does need a paint job on the hood, and a new front bumper and the seat has a tear in it, otherwise it looks good. He has $100.00 in to it and it is one he is proud of. And I of him.

I wished I still had my Yankee 30 electric start but it was too far gone, the ski's were nice though Are you guys familiar with Travis Boesch's Rupp Registry? We are going to add it here so you can (if not allready) register your Rupp Snowmobile with him. Last year he had over 200 sleds registered

Heck, that is an easy sled to fix up. Brandt or Bill should have the panels. Sledstuff would have the decals and wa la.

Maybe after i see the finished results of the Sprint. The price was right on the American. But, As I found, its Costly !!! The pic. of the Sprint that i posted was B-4 I spent any money. To Get it the way i want , im in for some where around $1,400.00 and have about another $350.00 to go. But this sled was my Dads and means ALLOT to me. So we will see what happens with the American.
