Hello, I am currently converting my 1976 Skiroule Laser from single to dual carbs. I understand the 1975 Nytro II has the same Kohler 440 2AS motor. Could any one provide me with the carb specs, especially the jet needle, needle jet and slide cut-away. Thanks.

I have the carbs and intake flanges if you still need some. If I was you I would use trail twister intakes and 36mms. Makes a difference.

Slide 3.0, Pilot 35, Jet Needle 6DP1, Needle Jet P2, Main 340/270, 440/290, These jets will wake up the Nitro but keep in mind this is with the air box and tube stack in place. As for your application start with 310/320 and work down from there. dc

Thanks for the great info. You make a good point, I am not running an air box. I have 190 main jets and they seem perfect. I have a bit of a bog off the line. This is what I am trying to cure. I also have my needle at the top clip (lean). Going to be warm for the races so I need to try lean up the bottom end a bit becaus I cannot adjust my needles any further.
My current set up with 34 mm carbs is
Main - 190 Pilot - 45 Jet Needle - 6DH7 Needle Jet - O8 Throttle Valve - 2.0
Comparing your set-up, think I will try:
Main - as above Pilot - 35 Jet Needle - 6DP1 Needle Jet - O2 Throttle Valve - 2.5

I have been looking for info for over a year, so any suggestions help. My sled currently runs good but it was -20 C the last day I tested it. Our forcast is for -5 C on race day. Plan on doing more testing in a couple days.

My notes say 290 for the K442AS but i have run 270 with success, I am always reluctant to give out jetting advise. I do not want to be held responsable for a burn down. dc

I pulled my carbs today on my 75 340 nitro, and they are jetted exactly as daren007 described. I think it runs a little rich when its warm out, but it spot on when the tempitcure drops.
