Luke, What did they have for superstock classes, usually when Bill does his thing with USSA it's mostly mods. I think I'm going to LaCrosse on the 21st full PVR event. How was your drag race last weekend? Mole lake was a good time, 316 entries, I got (2) 1st place finishes with the 250, and was running 2nd with the fanner in the final until I stuck it in the haybales.
Ghostrider, who ended up with your rupp f/a? What are his intentions for the sled? What ya gunna race now?

Paul, weyawega was a good time, didnt have a ton of sleds there, but they made it work, we had 9 classes, 440 ran against the fa's, which no big deal, better competition i guess, but i think it was running a little rich, only pulling 7 grand, and the 250, not really sure what happen with that thing yet, was running in 3rd with it going into turn 3 of the first lap when its like someone pulled the plug wires off and it just coasted to a stop, dont know what the heck went on there, pulled into the staging area, pulled it over a few times and it fired up, drove it on the trailor, but something doesnt seem quite right with it, it was about 25 degrees out and i know i had it jetting pretty rich, so i dont think it burnt up, it still seems to have the same compression, so the only thing i can figure when i went into the corner and let off the gas, then got back on it hard maybe it flooded out, but not sure, later this afternoon i will take it back to the shop and check it over. Id like to go to lacrosse next weekend, but we'll se what is up with the 250, id hate to drive way over there with one sled. Luke

hey paul, thats not true i have always had superstocks with the u.s.s.a. stuff and even relics. you guys just dont show up.who's fault is that. it is just mod guys show up more. we had 62 entries and i am not doing this for the u.s.s.a. i am doing it for the promoters. they want the vintage and pay for it. it was a pretty good time. i got 4 second place fineshes and just happy to be on the sled with out my arm hurting. tried some things that werent quite right so we'll change some more for la cross next week. see what happens. thanks for showing up luke. b.s.

Sorry Elvis, didn't intend to ruffle your feathers, I know you have done so much to grow our sport and for that I am thankful. I aways have to balance my racing with the home and family, and thats just what I did last weekend.

hey paul, you didnt "ruffle my feathers". i just wanted you to know that i have always been fair when scheduling these races. it's just the mod guys show up more. but sunday was half and half probly. i thought it was a pretty good turn out. the track is big, fast and awesome. my biggest goal is to get a vintage race there some day. they just wont pull the plug though. i understand too about not always being able to race weather its family, business, personal, reasons, or in my case seems like getting hurt every season now i miss a few races every year. that has to change!! anyways, are you going to la cross, we'll be there in top form hopefully!!!, lol talk to you soon, b.s.
