hooker sounds good, quite a bit quieter than the stock exaust, i like the cakle of the stock better. but this has a little cakle to it.i see bill you commented on it, a special thanks to Bill Stuhl for getting all the pieces i needed.these can be tough because alot of peices are only on this sled, but as usual Bill came through.this sled i bought about 5 to 6 years ago from keith kenyon i don't know if he hangs on here much, but he'd probably enjoy seeing it done. that rupp on the tunnel on my 72 is just a decal i had auto trim design make up for me.

Good lookin' original track and suspension, I like it. I see it has the front track carrier too. Do you know if it came like that or if it was added as an option later?

I had a 71 Magnum that started out as a twisted mess i removed from a scrap pile in a metal salvage yard. It had all the correct suspension pieces sans track. I assembled a somewhat correct sled from this and other sources but never completely finished the sled. I also believe the cylinders are unique with added exhaust cooling fins.Sold it to Dale Wanous in White Bear Mn. From there i believe it went to Lee Fredrickson Marine mn. I do not know the history from there. One must see the unique suspension to really appreciate this sled. From a collectors standpoint this would be one of the more difficult sleds to collect. You havea treasure there. dc

I put a 73 suspension in mine, was a big mistake , as soon as you got into some water the suspension loaded up and you couldnt move.
