Penn Mountain Vintage Ride

I went on another vintage ride this past Saturday. This time it was put on by the Penn Mountain Snow Riders Club with 100+ miles of groomed trails in upstate NY in the southern Adirondack Mountains.
I cruised 67 miles on my 1971 Polaris TX Charger 300. My buddy Dave rode his 1980 Kawasaki 440 Drifter. Another guy rode his 1972 Arctic Cat Lynx. There were about 40 vintage sleds that showed up for the ride to the top of Penn Mountain. What a great view from the top!







































































A cool surprise for me on this ride was stopping off at Hudon's Snowmobile Salvage, a huge warehouse full of snowmobile parts, old and new. The best part was that there were 9 or more beautiful vintage snowmobiles on display inside the main store area. Check out the cool sleds on display at Hudon's, located in Barneveld, NY!!!

Nope, I didn't see any red out that day. I wouldn't call my Nitro a trailer queen, but it's in too nice original condition to take out on a 70 mile ride. My TX is my rider and is as reliable as any sled out there. Thanks for looking Rupparooney!

Great photo's Steve that 292 lynx is a 71 I used to have one that was perfect beat it for two
years blew the track off it took the motor and scrap the rest of it. the things we did when we
didn't know better now I wish I just put it behind the garage and got a track for it.

What's up with no red sleds? there's none in the salvage yard ether, I think we need to come out east for a couple of these rides.
