Nice find 2slow! the 69-70 tunnels are the same but one problem, the 634 is a W/T . There is a guy out your way that has some 70 W/T sleds/parts i can look up his name and e-mail to you.

all 3 of the 69 sno sports have a different size tunnel. the 281 is the short one the 300 is next then there is a 371 which is the longest. I would think any 70-71 wide track tunnel would work?

I'll have to check it out again but I thought the magnum with the bad tunnel was a 15 in were all the 70 mags with the 634 w/t's

Bob,
According to the parts books, all 70 634 magnums were wide tracks. BUT that does not mean that someone could not have shoe-horned a 634 into a narrow chassis. What it really comes down to Bob is, do you want a wide track or a narrow! P.S. My brother just moved to Denver. I can easily get you a tunnel or bring something back to Michigan...... Thanks, Greg

I believe to be correct you will need a 70 Magnum W/T tunnel. I have 4 70 Magnums and they all have a triangular piece welded in where the bulkhead and tunnel meet, I have never seen this on any other Rupp. I believe it is unique to the 70 Mag. I'm not saying any other W/T tunnel wouldn't work, I think it would. It just wouldn't be correct if that matters to you. Joe

Well I went and did a quick comparison today with the '70 Mag 440 and '72 Rally, I'll look at my '71 tomorrow but just a few things I noticed from these 2 is the '70 seems to have a softer? alloy and no "fine" horizontal lines in the tunnel, no holes on top for an optional backrest like the 72, 2 more seat snaps on the 70 on the rear, differant rear grab handles and them handle holes are a differant height than the 72 etc... 1971??? I'll let you know tomorrow lol
