They are not that bad... pretty tough. Not real fast for an 800 unless you put some pipes on it. Back in the day my F3 600 would beat my buddies Storm or as we called it a "tropical depression". If its cheap beat it!!!

It is heavy!!! Doesn't run bad, mines stock jetting and it has a rich spot in low/mid-range. Need to avoid it or it loads up. Thing with the older T-Cat and Storm is they spent more time spinning the track than anything because they made so much power.
It's not even fair to compare it to an F-III Rog! The F-III and then the 97 Mach 1 700 that was based on the 600 were tough engines. Probably the best running triples ever.

Thanks boys! This one isn't cheap ($2000.00) not that great of a deal . I like the sound of them running, I think I found him a better one, an '01 XCR 800 for $1800.00 but needs one piston (cracked), and who knows how much more it needs... and has a 136" track on it but I'll keep you posted

Wow that's steep. Things are going real cheap up my way. I just bought a mint 04 zr900 with 1400 miles for $2000.... Hey ruppt!!! we are comparing a 600 against an 800. The storm warning is not in effect!!

The storm warning is not in effect!! Never was...I don't think they got it right until 98, by then everybody stopped development on the triples and focused on twins. Even then it wouldn't run withe Rotax's though!
