 hey guys, i know this isn't a ski-doo board, but i'm trying to help a friend get his ski-doo 377 twin cylinder mic carb running. it's an 89 safari. he replaced the gas line from the tank to the primer and thought he had to prime it a lot to get the air out of the line. but i think he has it flooded. any tricks to get the fuel out of the cylinders? if you dry the plugs off with a rag and blow them off and put them back in, it fires a little but it won't run. it soaks the plugs and it won't start. we're working on getting a 295 rupp going for him, if we can't get this ski-doo going. when he drove the ski-doo on the trailer,it ran perfect when he parked it. guy started it with 3 pulls when he bought it. any help would be greatly appreciated. looks like the rupp board is doing good  thanks in advance!

Pull the gas line off so no gas can go back in.!!!!!!Keep drying the plugs off and set them just slightly in side the spark plug hole and pull it over till you have a good bang or flame,or if you realy want to dry it out get one of them stick lighters and turn it on high hold it over one of the cylinders and have some one slowly pull the recoil ,you will know how slow to pull the recoil the flame should just bairly suck into the cyl and you will have some flames blow out.Wear ear plugs because it is loud at times,this will take some time but when you dont have a back fire or flames it's pretty well dried out in side..MAKE SURE THERE IS NO GAS LINES NEAR THE FLAMES!!! YOU DIDNT HEAR THIS METHOD FROM ME IF SOME THING GOES WRONG!!! just kidding.... Just take your time it works or you can disassemble the motor... DENNIS........

you guys are the best! i wasn't laughing about this situation for the last two days, but you guys sure shed a whole new light on this subject! ;D thanks for the info. don't worry, i've blown myself up before..i won't hold anyone responsible except for myself. i gotta call up my buddy now and tell him we're going to have a flame show lol. i'll be picking up a stick lighter tomorrow! ;D
