I have the chain case cover off . the drive gear and chain removed. The bearing cup on the opposite side is off. I also removed the 4 bolts that hold the jack shaft/gear and chain housing. Now what is the trick in removing the drive shaft from the gear side with out damaging the bearing. Rubber mallet ? any help would be appreciated. this would have been much easier when i had every thing off the sled. when i do get the shaft out, will every thing disassemble easily to get to the center drive sprocket ? Hey Dave if you got the room to get a good swing with the hammer then sometimes it's the only way,they can be stubborn and some choice words along with the hammer seem to work ;D
